Lake Malawi is full of history, having once been called Lake of a thousand stars and loved by Dr David Livingstone.  After being at Fisherman's taking yourself up to the lake is a much needed time of relaxation and reflection on all you have experienced.

Conquer Mulanje Massif >

V

Mulnje rises up from the ground to a staggering 3,002m.  This is 2km above the towns which lie at its base.  Once you battle with its steep sides, Mulanje opens out onto a spectacular plateau of undulating hills and dense Cedar famous giving off its famous scent in the fresh mountain air.

Some say Tolkien climbed Mulanje and got much of his inspiration for 'The Hobbit' and 'The Lord of the Rings' - Just saying you might want to visit this magnificent mountain.
